At what stage should we involve a consultant?
As early as possible. Decisions made at feasibility and concept stage have the largest effect on cost, and they are the cheapest to change.
Can you supervise a contractor we have already appointed?
Yes. We act as the owner’s representative, reviewing submissions, inspecting work and reporting progress independently.
Do you only advise on projects you build?
No. Consulting is a standalone service. When we advise, our duty is to you as the owner, whoever builds the project.
What does a typical report include?
Findings supported by survey data and model evidence, options with cost and time implications, and a clear recommendation.
Can you review designs prepared by other firms?
Yes. Independent design review is one of our most common engagements, covering buildability, coordination and value engineering.
